National Coaches of the Year Announced

BOWLING GREEN, OHIO (April 29, 2020) – Florida’s Jenny Rowland was named National Coach of the Year and Oklahoma’s Lou Ball and Tom Haley were named Assistant Coaches of the Year today by the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association. The awards were selected by a vote of the WCGA coaches.

This is the first Coach of the Year honor for Rowland. The Gators were 10-0 when the season ended and won their second consecutive Southeastern Conference regular-season title.

Ball and Haley are two-time recipients of the Assistant Coaches of the Year honors now. They first won it in 2010 after leading the Sooners to the program’s first-ever Super Six appearance and a runner-up finish.

Thank you to Mancino Mats – Rebecca and Bob Mancino – for sponsoring our Coach of the Year and Assistant Coaches of the Year Awards.
