Florida tops preseason poll

Florida, Oklahoma top voting by coaches

BOWLING GREEN, OHIO (December 17, 2020) – Florida is the top women’s gymnastics team going into the 2021 season, as voted on by members of the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association. Jenny Rowland is the head coach for the Gators, and she assisted by Adrian Burde and Owen Field. Florida is scheduled to open its season at Auburn on January 8.

Oklahoma, coached by KJ Kindler, Lou Ball, and Tom Haley, garnered the same number of first-place votes as the Gators but fewer overall points. The Sooners are scheduled to have their season opener against Arizona State on January 10.
